Rear Window
Alfred Hitchcock wrote a lot of great movies. Many of his movies were suspense films. He was sometimes called the master of suspense. Just in case you haven't guessed yet I'll be talking about his one of his movies.
One reason Rear Window is suspenseful because the whole movie takes place in one place. For instance if it had 20 different locations it wouldn't be very suspenseful.
Another reason this movie is so suspenseful, is because the main character has a broken leg. So he cant really do anything. Having your main character with a broken bone is a great ingredient for a suspense film.
One more reason why this movie is suspenseful is that there are several parts where you're on the edge of your seat. Which is very important in a suspense movie.
This movie is one that I would watch many times. It's a shame hes dead, or we'd still be enjoying Hitchcock films.
